For my first post, I have the pleasure of reviewing the latest from London- Ontario that is. Hailing from Alex P Keaton last night was Great Aunt Ida. Along with Kim Barlow and Tim Vesely, Ida graced the crowd with her brilliant lyrics and soothing voice. Along with some of her own material, Ida tossed in a few throwbacks; including a great rendition of a song by Guided by Voices, as well as an old Lennon hit - Jealous Guy. Add a few guitar solos, a banjo, and some well-timed percussion, and you`ve got the next big sound from the West.
Look out Ontario!
